FAQs
Can you freeze the Apple Pies?
Yes you can, before airfrying, individually wrap them and store them in the freezer. To cook them there is no need to defrost, so add the apple pies in the air-fryer and add a few extra minutes to the cooking time.
Can I bake them in the oven?
Yes, just bake them at around 190c for 15-20 minutes.
What zero calorie sweetener do you recommend?
My go to is for this recipe is the Truvia baking Brown Blend. However you could use any natural sweetener, such as; Lakanto Monkfruit (also I brand I use frequently), or even just plain old Stevia. Feel free to use ANY granulated sweetener you like, normal white sugar, brown sugar, etc.
Storage Tips for Air Fryer Apple Pies
Fridge: After they’ve cooled down, store tightly covered in the fridge for up to three days. Can enjoy cold, or reheat them for a few minutes in the airfryer or microwave
Freezer (cooked): After they’ve cooled down, store them tightly in the freezer for up to 2 months. When you’re ready to enjoy them, thaw overnight first. Can enjoy cold, or reheat them for a few minutes in the air-fryer or microwave
Freezer (uncooked): Wrap them individually in a ziplock bag or baking paper. When you’re ready to cook them, pop them in the air-fryer (no need to thaw first) and add a few minutes cooking time
