Fakeaway Fridays Episode 7: Domino’s Meat Lovers Pizza 🍕

Recipe:
Homemade Base:
70g bread flour
60-70g plain protein yogurt or normal greek yogurt
1 tsp baking powder
Dash of salt

OR 1x low carb/high protein base- I use the @woolworths_au 50% lower carb base, for one it is 270 cals with 15g protein
- 25g pizza sauce
- 25g low sugar bbq sauce
- 30g shredded mozzarella cheese
- 5g grated parmigiano reggiano
- 20g chopped ham or bacon (if using bacon, pre cook!)
- 15g pepperoni
- 1x lean beef sausage- I use the Premium extra lean beef sausages from the Good Food Company (i got them from woolworths)- pre cook & brown on a pan first

1. Pre-heat oven to 200c
2. If pre making the dough-Mix the flour, baking powder and salt and add the yogurt and knead until a smooth ball forms. Cover and let it sit for 5 mins
4. Roll out the dough to your desired thickness OR use your premade pizza base, spread the sauces and top with 3/4 of the cheese, then the bacon, cooked beef sausage and pepperoni, then top with the rest of the cheese.
5. Bake for 8-10 minutes, cut into 8 slices and enjoy

Chicken Noodle Soup (320 cals, 29g protein)

Chicken Noodle Soup (320 cals, 29g protein) ✨

Recipe (Serves 4-6):
-1/2 tbsp olive oil
-4 medium chicken thighs (about 600-650g) sub for chicken breast, or 300-400g shredded store bought rotisserie chicken
- 1 onion
- 2-5 birds eye chillis (optional also depending on how spicy you like it, 5 is great if you like it hotttttt)
- 4 carrots
- 4 stalks celery
- 2 tbs minced garlic
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- 8 heaped tsp chicken stock paste + 10 cups water OR 10 Cups chicken stock (2.5 L)
- 50g bone broth (optional but adds so much creaminess and goodness)
- spices: 1/2 tbsp sweetener (optional), 2 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp paprika, bay leaves, 1/4 tsp white pepper, 1/2 tsp ground chilli, salt & white pepper to taste
- 200g vermicelli egg noodles (or pasta/noodles of choice)
- 100g frozen green peas
- lemon juice to taste
- finely chopped parsley for garnish

1. Brown chicken thighs on both sides and season with salt and pepper
2. Remove the thighs then add in the onion and chilli and brown for a few minutes then add garlic and ginger paste
2. Add in diced carrot and celery and sauté for a few minutes
3. Add in the spices and chicken stock paste and stir until fragrant
4. Add the chicken back in, water (or chicken stock) and bone broth paste (optional) and bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and let it simmer for 20 minutes - 30 minutes
5. Remove the chicken and shred (I use my kitchen aid) OR add your add your pre-made rotisserie shredded chicken, noodles & frozen peas and cook for an extra 10 minutes
- once done remove the bay leaves and add some fresh lemon juice to taste & serve with some fresh parsley

Fakeaway Fridays Ep 6: Crispy Airfryer Wings 2 ways 🔥

Buffalo Hot Wings (serves 2-3):
- 650g-700g wingettes/flats
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp onion & garlic powder
- 1/4-1/2 tsp chilli powder
- 1/4 cayenne pepper (optional)
- salt & pepper to taste

Hot Sauce:
- 1/4 cup hot sauce- I use Franks red hot Sauce
- 10g light butter
- 1 tbsp white vinegar

1. Pat dry the chicken wings and season well, give the wings a good mix and make sure the seasoning is evenly incorproated
2. Airfry at 190c for 25 minutes flipping halfway, then an extra 5 mins at 200c for maxium crispiness
3. While the wings are in the airfryer, prepare the sauce over low-medium heat until slightly thickened
4. Pour the sauce over the wings and enjoy

Lemon Pepper Wings (serves 2-3):

- Fresh or Dried parsley to taste

Recipe (makes 12 protein balls):
250g pitted dates soaked in hot water for 5-10 mins (reserve 2 tbsp)
60g chocolate protein powder- I use @macr0mike deluxe chocolate protein (amb-eliyaeats to save $$$)
2 tbsp cocoa powder (around 20g)
30g runy peanut butter
1/2 tbsp date water (add more as you go if too dry)
Salt

Chocolate Coating

80g sugar free milk chocolate- I use @lindt_au
1-tsp coconut oil
30 g protein crispies (optional but recommended!!)

- Add soaked dates, protein powder, occoa powder, peanut butter, salt and 1/2 tbsp date water into a food processor or blender and blend until a thick sticky mixture forms.
- Roll into 12 balls and freeze for 20 mins
- Melt your choc with 1 tsp coconut oil, add the protein crispies and mix well.
- Dip each protein ball into the chocolate mixture, sprinkle with some sea salt and freeze for 1 hours or until fully set. Store in the fridge for a softer texture or in the freezer for a firmer texture & enjoyyyy

Spicy Chicken Salad recipe 🔥👇🏼

Recipe (makes 4-6 serves):
- 400g shredded rotisserie chicken
- 1/2 red onion, chopped
- 1 can corn kernels (400g)
- 4 small stalks celery, chopped
- 2 large carrots, chopped
- 1/2 jar pickled jalapeno, chopped
- green onion

Sauce/dressing:
- 100g nandos perinaise (hot) or sub for spicy mayo (80g light mayo, 20g hot sauce)
- 100g plain greek yogurt
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2-4 tbsp white vinegar
- hot sauce (optional, to taste)- I use franks red hot

- Store in the fridge for up to 4 days
- Serve with crackers, lettuce, by itself, in sandwiches or on bagels

Matcha Crunch Protein Balls inspired by @elllgibson (but oat free!) ✨

Recipe (makes 12 protein balls):

150g vanilla protein powder- I use @macr0mike Vanilla Buttercream protein (amb-eliyaeats to save $$$)
60g runny peanut butter
2 tbsp- 1//4 cup sugar free maple syrup (or normal) depending on how sweet you like it
1-2 tsp matcha powder
2-3 tbsp soy milk or water (add bit by bit)
Salt

Matcha Chocolate Coating:

100g sugar free white choc chips- I use @noshufoods
1-tsp coconut oil
1/2 tsp matcha
20 g protein crispies (optional but recommended!!)

- Mix protein powder, peanut butter, salt, matcha, maple syrup and 1/2 tbsp milk at a time, into a bowl and mix well. add more milk if too dry. Mix until a thick sticky mixture that resembles dough forms.
- Roll into 12 balls and freeze for 20 mins
- Melt your choc with 1 tsp coconut oil, add the matcha powder and protein crispies and mix well.
- Dip each protein ball into the chocolate mixture, and freeze for 1 hour or until fully set. Store in the fridge for a softer texture or in the freezer for a firmer texture & enjoyyyy

Chimichurri Steak & Fries

Recipe: 150g-170g

Chimichurri Steak & Fries 🍟

Recipe:
150g-170g Grass Fed Beef Eye Fillet Steak (or any cut)
Salt & Pepper
250g white potato- chopped into fries
1-1.5 tsp oil
Seasonings of choice (for fries)- I use salt & peri peri seasoning

Homemade Chimichurri (makes 4-5 serves):
- Handful of parsley (I use 1/3 of a bunch)
- 1 small shallot
- 1 chilli
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 3 tbsp vinegar (I do a mix of red wine and ACV)
- 18g Olive oil (about a heaped tbsp)
- Salt & Pepper to taste
* I use more vinegar over olive oil to limit the calories

1. Bring the steak out of the fridge an hour before cooking (to bring to room temp) I like to pat it dry with a paper towel and season with just salt on both sides
2. Make the chimichurri sauce - I like to blitz every ingredient in my mini food processor because I am too lazy to chop, mix all the ingredients well in a bowl and let it sit in the fridge for minimum 30 minutes to really develop the flavour
3. Peel & cut the potato into fries & rinse the starch of the potato until the water comes clear
4. Optional (but recommended) soak the fries in cold water with a dash of baking soda and salt for 30 mins-1 hour
5. Pat dry and add to a bowl with 1/2 tsp olive oil (the less the better trust me on this) and seasonings and mix well
6. Airfry at 160c for 5 mins then 200c for 12-15 mins shaking half way
7. While the fries are cooking, heat a pan to medium-high heat, add a dash of olive oil and cook the steak (I do 2 -3 minutes per side, but every steak will differ (Depending on thickness) mine was a little more well done (I prefer it a lil rarer so do 2 mins per side if you like it more medium rare- for thicker steaks do 3-4 mins)
8. Remove the steak from the pan and let it sit for 5-10 minutes, I also season with pepper at this point.
9. Cut the steak into thin strips, serve with the fries and chimichurri and enjoyyyy
