These Double Chocolate Baked Protein Pancake Bowls are your new go-to high-protein breakfast for busy mornings. They’re rich, fudgy, and loaded with chocolate—like eating dessert for breakfast, but with 33g of protein and only 390 calories per bowl. Super easy to make with simple ingredients, no banana required, and perfect for meal prep. Just bake, reheat, and dig in. Ingredients
  

  • 1 egg
  • 50 g yogurt vanilla or unflavoured
  • 70 ml milk high protein light milk or soy or almond
  • 35 g flour all purpose
  • 25 g chocolate protein powder. This recipe uses a vegan protein powder if using whey, use slightly less liquid.
  • 5 g cocoa powder
  • 5 g zero calorie granulated sweetener or sweetener of choice 1 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 12 g sugar free milk chocolate *see notes, can sub for chocolate chips, dark choc, etc
Optional Chocolate Sauce Topping
  • 1/2 tbsp sugar free maple syrup or normal maple syrup
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder about 2.5g
  • 1/2 tbsp milk to thin

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 180c or 356 F.
  2. Add each ingredient into each oven safe glass bowl and mix well (can make as many bowls as you like).
  3. Chop your chocolate into small chunks and sprinkle on top.
  4. Bake for 20-22 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5-10 minutes.
  5. Serve with the optional chocolate sauce or sugar free maple syrup.

Notes

Note: This recipe is for one bowl, but I like to make multiple bowls at 1 time for meal prep. I add each ingredient separately to each bowl so that every bowl is equal and is at the same amount of calories/volume.
