Ingredients

  • 2 slices bread
  • 10 g smooth biscoff spread
  • 1 egg
  • 20 g protein powder
  • 30 ml almond milk or any milk of choice
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp zero calorie sweetener optional

Cinnamon Sugar

  • 1/2 tbsp zero calorie granulated sweetener or normal white sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Biscoff Drizzle

  • 5 g smooth biscoff spread
  • 3 g protein powder optional
  • 15-20 ml almond milk or any milk of choice

Instructions

  • Spread the Lotus Biscoff Smooth Spread on one slice of bread and combine with the other slice to make a sandwich. Cut the sandwich into 6 equal pieces.
  • Mix the protein powder with almond milk to create a thick paste- this makes it easier to mix into the egg
  • In a bowl, whisk together the egg, almond milk and protein powder mix, cinnamon, and sweetener until no clumps remain.
  • Dip each piece of the sandwich into the egg mixture, making sure both sides are coated evenly.
  • Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat and add the French toast bites. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • While the French toast bites are cooking, prepare the cinnamon sugar mixture by mixing the sweetener and cinnamon together in a small bowl.
  • Once the French toast bites are done, remove them from the pan and dip each piece into the cinnamon sugar mixture while they're still hot.
  • To make the Biscoff drizzle, heat the Biscoff Spread and almond milk together in the microwave for 15-20 seconds. Stir in the protein pwder until a semi-thick sauce forms.
  • Drizzle the Biscoff sauce over the French toast bites and serve immediately.
